Overview

Dr Park is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and a graduate of the CUMC fellowship program. She is also the recipient of American College of Rheumatology (ACR) Distinguished Fellow Award in 2022. Dr Park’s clinical and research interests include cardiovascular complications of rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatoid-arthritis associated interstitial lung disease (RA-ILD), cardiac sarcoidosis, and osteoarthritis. She has completed a master’s degree focusing on biostatistics, data science, and bioinformatics through the Mailman School of Public Health. She utilizes the electronic health record (EHR) to generate large, observational cohorts and study important associations between anti-rheumatic drugs (methotrexate) and diseases, such as RA-ILD. She has received training grants from Pfizer and the Rheumatology Research Foundation. Dr Park is also regularly involved in teaching medical students (rheumatology/musculoskeletal module), residents, as well as fellows. She also works with graduate students from the Data Science Institute at Columbia University on clinical informatics projects.
